Bonne Santé Physiotherapy Clinic has been specialising in the treatment of alpine injuries for over 12 years.
Bonne Santé is recognised by most major insurance companies.
The physiotherapists at Bonne Santé are all members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and registered with the Health Professions Council. These professional bodies exist to ensure that high standards of practice are maintained. All Chartered Physiotherapists have undergone the required training and passed the necessary exams to enable them to practice. They will have the letters MCSP and SRP after their names showing that they are also State Registered.
Louise Allison BSc (Hons) MCSP, SRP As clinical manager, Louise is acutely aware of the unique nature of skiing and alpine injuries. She has a broad range of experience working with musculoskeletal and sports injuries, including work in large teaching hospitals and sports injury clinics in London, Canada and Gibraltar as well as work with waterskiers at Stewartby Watersports club. Louise recognises the importance of frequently updating your skills to stay at the forefront of new techniques and approaches, therefore regularly attends courses around the country. She is keen to deliver the highest levels of care possible and lead by example. As well as specialising in sports and alpine injuries, Louise has a keen interest in womens health physio. She is keen to assist local residents during the ante and postnatal periods with any aches, pains and problems they may have. Louise is a keen snow and water skier. She also enjoys running and yoga.
Nicky Dyer BSc(Hons) MCSP, SRP, ACPET, SAQ trainer Nicky has a broad range of experience obtained over the past 5 years from a number of London teaching hospitals. She has recently achieved a post graduate diploma in Sports & Exercise Medicine from a world renowned sports medicine centre & plans to convert this to a Masters by the end of 2008. In sport, she has solely set up & coordinated the rehabilitation team for Tottenham Ladies Football Club squads over the last few seasons. She has wide-ranging biomechanical and orthopaedic experience having worked in both private & NHS neuromusculoskeletal speciality areas. She is also a qualified SAQ® trainer, therefore skilled in coaching conditioning for performance and working to improve functional fitness using applied sports science. Nicky has used these skills to create individual alpine snowboard and ski specific fitness programmes as well as rehabilitation programmes for sports injuries. Nicky is a member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Exercise Therapy (ACPET). She has also worked in clinical & research settings treating patients with conditions such as chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic pain & hyperventilation syndrome using the biopsychosocial model. Nicky brings to Bonne Sante a dynamic mix of sports specific and holistic management strategies. In her spare time, Nicky enjoys running and is a keen snowboarder.
Nic Lyne BSc(Hons), MCSP, SRP, PGD, AACP.
A millennium graduate from the University of Hertfordshire, Nic gained his grounding in musculoskeletal practice at the famous Royal Free Hospital in London. Two seasons at Crystal Palace Football Club increased his knowledge of acute sporting injuries and experience of working with complicated and often pressurised rehabilitation programmes. In the last two years, Nic has had the opportunity to work alongside some of the most acclaimed clinical specialists in the United Kingdom and Europe, whilst completing the world famous Sports and Exercise Medicine MSc at Queen Mary’s University, London. Alongside his lecturing commitments, 2008 should also see him publish original research in low back pain, muscle recruitment and exercise, an area of personal clinical interest. But it’s not all work, work, work; Nic is a keen snowboarder and has a wealth of clinical and also personal experience with alpine injuries! Last season a fractured rib and dislocated elbow saw him spend a lot of time on the ‘other side’ of the treatment table!
Sue Reed MCSP, SRP, CSTT Bonne Santé also benefits from visiting specialist Sue Reed, who has over 15 years experience working with skiing and alpine injuries. She is also a registered Craniosacral therapist. Sue is well known in Val d'Isere and renowned for her passion to heal and help. Her experience with alpine injuries is second to none.
